“A country song with a New Orleans feel”? Is that even possible? One radio professional described the title tune from the "My Bachelor Ways" album as “…a fun song, with a Dr. John vibe”, so I guess the answer is Yes. Thanks to the superb brass arrangements by René Gely, and their execution by some of the finest horn players you could ask for, MBW’s melody will stick with you from first listen. You’ll be amazed (as we were) to hear Keith Hartshorn-Walton doing things you never thought possible on the tuba.
